Students will work in teams of 3 to research, develop and design 3 object typologies for an assigned, pre-existing brand. Each brand will have a very clear, researchable identity. Student teams will design object types that do not currently exist within the current offerings of the brand. Through studying and researching the design language and the history of Prada, we have designed a 3 furniture ideas. My team consists of Priyal Mehta (First design) and Alyson Thomson (Third design). My chair (Second design) focuses on the youth audience Prada is attracting currently and brings in a twist with a modern beanbag chair using materials such as nylon, leather and pattering.
